Ochiba sighed as he hopped down from a tree he had been climbing, dropping several feet before stopping mid air. He looked down and calculated the remaining fall, smiling he released the platform he had formed to stay within the air, falling to the ground like a rock. Landing in a roll to minimize the damage, he hopped back up and check himself to see if he was hurt anywhere. Satisfied that there was no serious damage he brushed himself off and grabbed his zanpakuto from its place against the trunk of the tree. He looked up to the tree, craning his neck so that he could see the top. It was the tallest pine in the forest, and it was massive. He looked around the clearing where it grew and smiled. What plant would try to grow here? Ochiba thought to himself, noticing that the only thing that grew here was moss. The moss clung to rocks, and the trunk of the tree that sapped the sunlight and water from any other plant that would have tried to make its home in the clearing.
Ochiba patted the trunk of the tree before easing himself low to the ground, resting his back against the trunk and his bottom on the ground. He stretched out his right leg, bringing the left one up so that his knee was sticking up into the air. It was on his knee where he would rest his head, beginning to snore as he drifted off into his world of dreams.
