The Stature of A Flamingo(Toxicity meets Yaouchi)

It was a late night in downtown Karakura.Many of the young citizens were heading out in their most expensive outfits to the nightclubs and bars that only came alive after midnight.A typical evening,full of typical people.All except one:A tall man(for Japanese standards,anyway) with dark purple hair stood motionless in the park.He wouldn't be that easy to notice if he wasn't wearing an off-white suit with a black shirt and white tie.Or if he didn't wear the black gloves that covered his hands.But maybe,just maybe,it was the fact that he wore a ceramic mask on his face.The mask was decorated with two holes for the eyes,thick black lines going down each side that led to a thickly painted smile with what seemed to be stitches all across it.Such an odd thing for anyone to wear.

Such an odd thing for anyone to be doing.The man just stood there,motionless.His left hand rested on the pommel of the black rapier that was strapped to his hip and his right hand carried a bottle of Pinot noir and two empty glasses.His gray eyes seemed to be staring off into space as he just...stood there.What could he possibly be waiting for?

Yaouchi was wearing his usual outfit. His brown scorched hair was the same as always. His burned neck wrappings however were absent. Though he still wore his cloak and other common clothing items. Some of the walking citizens of Karakura noticed him as they walked by and nodded at him. For he had became slightly known for a couple crazy nights he had on the town.

Yaouchi saw the man he was looking for. The one who he had heard rumors about recently and had come with a name recently among the "Spiritual world" as Yaouchi usuall reffered to it. Though Yaouchi didn't understand exactly what this man was he was definatly the one that had been reffered to in the rumors. The mast not only gave it away but the pressure Yaouchi felt from him.

Yaouchi approached him slowly and seemingly uncaringly until he was about 5 yards away from him. At that point Yaouchi stopped to consider whether he should prove himself to be the one who had sent the message to him via currier. However the currier was dead so there was no realy way to use him to prove who Yaouchi was. That would have probably been helpful if the man doubted Yaouchi but since Yaouchi was secrative about his buisness the currier had no chance of living through that information.

Yaouchi approached closer after his brief pause 5 yards away and noticed the rapier blade at the mans side. Yaouchi knew that this man did not have the sword abilities that the shinigami from before had which brought up the question why would this man even bring a sword along. However that would probably wouldnt be the best way to start the conversation.

Yaouchi finally reached the man and stood about 1 foot away from him and half faced the wall and half faced the man. Yaouchi looked straight into the mask's eyes to see what was behind the eyes of the creepy mask. However Yaouchi wanted the man to start the conversation instead of him. It would go easier that way...

A brown haired man was approaching Toxicity.He stopped a few feet away from him,yet Toxicity didn't stir.The man was only pausing before pressing on to invade Toxicity's space,standing only a foot away from him,staring into the eyes of the mask.Or at least what everyone thinks are the eyes of the mask.Those eyes blinked.They belonged to Toxicity,in all of their dull gray delight.Toxicity smiled,but the man couldn't have seen such a thing on account of the mask.

Toxicity looked at the man and simply said:"Banzai."Such an odd statement,but Toxicity was an odd man.He quickly glanced over the figure of the man before him before he continued.

"I think celebration is in order.You are the first to find me here in this realm that has lived to tell about it.So far,at least.It's all up to you to make sure you leave here alive.With that said,what possesses you to call for such a meeting as this?"

Now Toxicity's stature changed a little.His head was tilted downward to look into the eyes of his companion.His own eyes blinked constantly as he awaited a reply from the human before him.Such an odd thing for a human to exude Reiatsu as much as this one does...Toxicity thought to himself.This could very well prove delightful

Yaouchi listened to him carefully and when he said Banzai Yaouchi showed no signs of being confused by the word. It was actually something he probably would have done in that situation as well although probably with a different word because Banzai meant absolutely nothing to Yaouchi.

Next came the tall man's rathre cryptic statement about Yaouchi's survival. Yaouchi could feel his superhuman blood flowing faster and a few of his muscles tense as he felt the spiritual pressure and behind his head Yaouchi lit up expecting a great fight. However Yaouchi's sense took back over from adrenaline and he continued looking into the eyes of the mask.

"Such heavy words from someone who doesnt know who they are talking to. However you seem to want to head straight to the buisness of why I called you here. That is simple and should only take a couple sentences to explain. You have been calling attention to yourself in this world of Spirits simply because of the pressure you let off. Second you are in Karakura town with this high pressure so therefore I feel obliged to meet you."

Yaouchi backed up about 6 inches after his statement. He could feel his adrenaline still just a bit flowing but Yaouchi was containing it. The burning need for a fight could be supressed and that was a good thing. Yaouchi resized the man up as unnonticable again. He did seem very confident in his abilities but just the way that he carried himself made Yaouchi also sure in the man's abilities.

The words of the man before him seemed to exude confidence.The human spoke as if he were some high ranking official who was in control of everything around him.Toxicity liked that.He moved his left hand from the pommel and gripped the handle of the rapier and drew it from its scabbard.Toxicity threw the rapier down into the ground before him as he shifted the two glasses in his right hand over to his free left hand.He somehow managed to uncork the bottle of Pinot Noir with his left hand.

Toxicity poured the rich,dark,wine into both glasses and passed one on to the man before him.He placed the bottle in his hand on the ground and raised his right hand to his face,removing the mask that covered it.His face was reminiscent of a bird's,his nose was curved and pointed downward and his pale gray eyes seemed to stare into the human's soul.

"Allow me to introduce myself,"Toxicity said to the man,his mouth spread wide in a large smile."My name is simply Toxicity.I am what is known as a Bounto.Not exactly human,not exactly spiritual.We just are.How about you?"

Toxicity was interested in this man.He raised his glass to his lips and sipped at the delicious liquid that was inside of it.Maybe this could prove to be a fruitful negotiation if both parties played their cards right.

Yaouchi watched the man. He didnt want to end up giving anything away for free in case of course there were hostilities. So Yaouchi listened to the man peacefully. When the sword fell to the ground and the very fine Pinot Noir was poured Yaouchi could feel almost a smile touch his lips.

Yaouchi accepted the drink and took a sip of the fine wine. While taking the sap Yaouchi closed his left eye to view the man's face and examine his features so that he would not have to examine him without at least pretending he was doing something else. Yaouchi basically only saw the eyes.

Listening to what the man said Yaouchi responded. "A Bounto? You said." Yaouchi asked before pausing and staring right back into the deep staring eyes of the Bounto. Yaouchi's semi small brown eyes were not necessarily intimidating to stare into but they never stopped staring back at you.

"Myself I am known as Yaouchi. I am self named and do not know of my history or even exactly of my age. The spiritual refer to me as a superhuman. There are a few of us and we live here in Karakura town on the outskirts looking for more of us. Each with our own completely different abilities." Yaouchi spoke freely and took another sip of the Pinot Noir.

Yaouchi continued staring into the man's eyes. He could feel his adrenaline beginning to pump again. Just staring into the powerful eyes of this man made Yaouchi's blood pump to a point where Yaouchi was forced to actually for a second restrain his superhuman powers from turning his body black and red. Though the whole time Yaouchi stared back with his own brown and soulful eyes.

Toxicity could feel the spikes in spiritual pressure that Yaouchi was trying to suppress.It seemed the human was itching for fight.Maybe he was on the defensive.Maybe he was going to strike first.No matter,Toxicity would wait and see.For now,he'd just bait the hook by spiking his own reiatsu a little at odd intervals.

Nevertheless,the words that Yaouchi spoke were indeed interesting.Humans with powers who weren't Bounto were something that Toxicity would have to look into.If they proved to be a valuable weapon in anyway,he'd have to exploit them.For now,he'd have to learn more about these fellows.

The outskirts of Karakura,you say?I don't live too far from there myself...(To gain information,one must always give a little away.)What kind of abilities does your current group have?I am inclinde to learn as much about the spiritually active as possible.

Toxicity spoke every word with a smile spread across his face.To some,it would be the creepiest sight they ever did see.But to others(especially the ladies) it was quite charming.Things such as smiles were always interpreted by perspective.

Yaouchi wondered at the intentions of this possibly insane man with such high levels of spiritual energy. However once again Yaouchi was gaining control of his adrenaline which always spiked more and more the more powerful the spiritual pressure of the person or thing he was around.

Yaouchi was now wondering about the smile and the question that had creeped across the face of this mysterious man. Something about it made Yaouchi momentarily reach for a thought and grab for it. But...then Yaouchi remembered common sense. However the thought intrigued Yaouchi for he didn't know what the thought could be so he reached back into his mind. He found...Submission calling. Ha there was no way.

The question was interesting though. Yaouchi himself only knew a bit of his peoples powers so keeping it vague so he would seem more knowledgable than he really was would probably be the best course of action here. Yaouchi answered in his usual manner staring into the strangely powerful eyes of his seeminly new friend.

"Mr. Toxcicity. My people have wide ranges of powers. I myself am not sure how comphortable they would be in my telling of there names or personal abilities but I assure you no average human could contain such pressure as you no doubt are feeling from me. I myself will tell you of myself but that is it. But I will bring you to meet the others if you would so wish."

I have the ability to morph limbs and pieces of my body into different elements by will. For instance my usual state is Metal which can be taken whichever way you want to take me being metal man. Other powers of mine include wind and light. But now since I have told you so much about myself its time for you to return the favor. Its only good citizenship to share information with friends."

There was something about this man before Toxicity.He was smarter than he let on,and he knew how to worm his way out interrogations.He could prove to be very useful.Toxicity would have to play his cards just right to move this man into his pocket.he would have to oblige this man's request.What better way to explain one's power than to show it?

Toxicity lifted his right hand and held it out,as if he was waiting for a bird to land there.He lowered his eyes to the sword sticking up in the ground and stopped smiling.His expression seemed more malevolent than usual.Something about setting eyes and releasing his doll sent Toxicity into a completely different,more serious move.His lips,set in a grim line,barely moved as he spoke.Zeige Dich

The sword in the ground seemed to become a moving shadow,it shifted and morphed into a large,black,bird that took flight and soared over head,circling once or twice around the two men before landing on Toxicity's arm.Toxicity's smile returned to his face,if not smaller than usual.The bird simply squawked as Toxicity looked back up at Yaouchi.

This,is Heiterkeit.He is my power.He allows me to use his control of shadows to my own advantage.We have more of a partner relationship with each other than one of a master and servant.I'd tell him to say hi,but he an only speak with me telepathically.

Toxicity enjoyed having his doll out now.It wasn't a time for battle,his least favorite part of his chosen path,but a time for fellowship.No matter how dual natured that fellowship was.He smiled at Yaouchi before he spoke again,stroking Heiterkeit's head as he spoke.I would love to meet your men,and if they behave,you might be able to meet mine.I would like to but an emphasis on the IF they behave part.

Yaouchi grinned when he watched the sword morph to shadows then turn into a black bird. IT was truly a marvelous site. however Toxcicity's smile and face was quite frankly creepy to Yaouchi. Though it was acceptable because of the power being shown here by the so called Bounto.

Yaouchi's lips formed into a grin once again when if they behave came into the question. That could be taken a few ways and how Toxcicity meant this was a question that could not be answered by merely guessing with the information Yaouchi had on hand at the moment.

Yaouchi however instead of responding by words decided to also show his abilities. A blood red and pitch black coloring covered Yaouchi though the only part that showed was the exposed skin. After that Yaouchi's sleeves and pant legs sliced and fell off as a pure metal was revealed where his arms and legs were.

Yaouchi's grin turned into a more evil looking crooked smile and he finally spoke again. "My men's behavior is not the problem you see. Its getting them to come out and play that is the biggest difficulty with these people. They all have normal lives they need to live up with so they try and associate between them with people like us. But Im sure I can do it."
